Our Mission
At Sky Sanctuary, we exist to rescue, rehabilitate, and relentlessly advocate for the street dogs who have been forgotten—those with the most urgent medical needs, the deepest emotional wounds, and the slimmest chances of survival. We specialize in stepping in where others walk away.
As a boots-on-the-ground 501c3 nonprofit, we work directly in the streets of our community, humanely capturing animals who are sick, injured, and in desperate need of care. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive, specialized treatment, from complex surgeries to long-term rehabilitation. We don’t shy away from the hard cases; we seek them out.
But healing goes beyond the physical. We partner with a trusted team of trainers to restore each dog’s sense of safety, build their confidence, and give them the tools they need to thrive in a home. We believe every dog deserves peace, love, and the chance to be part of a family.Unlike traditional rescues, we’re not afraid to get our hands dirty. We are driven by courage, compassion, and a deep belief that these animals matter. Every life we touch is made possible through the generosity of our supporters—we are entirely funded by public donations, primarily through social media.

While we believe deeply in lifelong support, we also believe every animal deserves the love and stability of a family. That’s why, for those who cannot be adopted due to ongoing medical or behavioral needs, we place them in sanctuary foster homes—trusted families who offer permanent love and security while we remain responsible for their medical, financial, and behavioral support.
